Permitted use

Use this read-only service for public-data research. No sign-in or purchase is required. Respect rate limits and the published terms of each source. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit confidential information.

Source qualifications

Records have different dates and coverage limits. Preserve source citations and dates when reusing results. Catalog records are metadata, not data; a link check reports only whether a publisher host answered at that time. Survey estimates carry margins of error; statistical series carry units, seasonal adjustment and revision status. Search results are bounded and are not evidence that no dataset or statistic exists.

Limits of the service

Records are provided as available without a guarantee of completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular decision. Source request limits can make a source temporarily unavailable. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
